    • Clive Herbert Worthen, 77, died September 18, 1995 in a Provo hospital.

      He was born June 8, 1918 in Ferron, Utah to Thomas and Lillie Hawks Worthen. He married Glenda Pearl Nielsen December 3, 1943 in the Manti LDS Temple.Clive served in the US Army in World War II. As an active member of the LDS Church, he served a full time mission in the Western States and then with his wife, Glenda in the Mississippi, Jackson Mission. He also served as the first bishop in the Kenilworth Ward, as well as in numerous other callings. He was active in the United Mine Workers of America, Local 1857. He loved camping, fishing and other out-door activities and was a friend to all who knew him.

      Preceded in death by one grandchild; one son-in-law, two brothers and one sister.

      Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21, 1995, at 11 a.m. in the Ferron Stake Center. Friends may call at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ferron City Cemetery.
