Obituary
FORDS — Funeral services for Carl W. Lund, carpenter and builder, 8 William Street, who died Sunday at Perth Amboy General Hospital of Injuries suffered April 29, while at work, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Garretson-Koyen Funeral Chapel, Perth Amboy with Rev. Ove R. Neilson officiating. Burial was in the Cloverleaf Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
Mr. Lund was a member of Americus Lodge, P. & A. M., of Woodbridge; Dana Relief Society, Valhalla Lodge, No. 275, Odd Fellows of which he was past noble grand; Hornet Encampment, No. 46, Danish Brotherhood; Carpenters and Joiners Local 65, Fords Fire Company and St. Stephen's Danish Lutheran Church. Mr. Lund also was a former fire commissioner of Fords Fire District and served as president of the Board.
Surviving are his widow, Petra, three sons, Waldemar W., Victor E., a Fords mailman and Harry P. member of the Woodbridge High School faculty; three grand children, a sister and brother in Denmark and another brother in Canada.
The Odd Fellows ritual and the Masonic services were held at th Chapel Monday night.
