The family later moved to Omaha.)ey; one daughter, Madelyn; his parents and a sister, Esther Henderson, all of Omaha.According to articles in the Omaha World Herald, Luther Wesley Wilson was found guilty of the murder and sentenced to the electric chair. His sentence was commuted to life by the Nebraska Board of Pardons in Feb 1961, after he admitted the killing, but testified that he was nervous during the robbery and fired the gun by accident. He died October 13, 1974 at age 45 in the yard of the Nebraska Penal complex when he was stabbed to death by another inmate.
