- Birth: Feb. 18, 1934 was born on February 18, 1934, in Spanish Fork, Utah; the daughter of Rodney William and Mabel Stark Banks.nd, Marlene Nielsen, set them up on a date. A short two months later they were married, enjoying 54 years together. They loved spending time with their four children working, camping, boating and traveling. Emma graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended Brigham Young University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Education. She taught school for 25 years in many different assignments, including home economics, English and TLC (technology, life and careers). She loved working with people and made friends wherever she went. She sat on the library board, worked as a Pink Ladady, was a member of the Quilting Guild and a member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers. Emma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including Young Women President, Primary Chorister and Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, sewing, handcrafts, shopping and her grandchildren. Emma Del Banks Larsen died in her home in Spanish Fork September 4, 2014 from natural causes. - Bill's Basement Househeir first home was a basement house that Bill had built with profits from a seven acre field of sugar beets. They lived in the home for about five years.
