Obituary
Elizabeth A. Christensen-Pinio, 91, of Elburn, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Rosewood Care Center in St. Charles. She was born December 28, 1916 in Chicago, where she lived for her first 40 years. She would then relocate to Wildwood and later Lake Villa. Elizabeth was employed in retail for most of her life in grocery, music and clothing stores.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy (Tom) Cassidy of Elburn; three grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Whelan, Rebecca (Mike) Zyck, and Christopher (Melissa) Cassidy; four great-grandchildren, Liam and Donovan Whelan and Ryan and Jeremy Zyck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Violet Boles; by her first husband, Robert Christensen in 1973; her second husband, Joseph Pinio in 1990; and her brothers, Ernest, Willis, Fred, and Lee Boles.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176), Libertyville. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Assn. Info: 847-362-3009.
